Core Survival Loop

Meteor Survival Challenge Arcade strips the arcade formula down to one objective: stay alive. You control a character on a 2D screen while space rocks and other objects fall from above. There are no shields, power-ups, or health pickups. A single hit ends the run, so every second is spent reading the screen and adjusting your position. The longer you last, the higher your score climbs. Because spawns are random, no two rounds follow the same pattern, which keeps repeated attempts from feeling memorized.

Controls and Movement

Movement uses the arrow keys or WASD. That is the entire control scheme. The simplicity is deliberate: the challenge comes from timing and observation, not from learning complex inputs. Responsive controls matter here because a late dodge is the same as no dodge. The game asks you to keep moving rather than camp in one corner, since falling objects appear across the screen and can cut off safe zones quickly.

Difficulty and Replayability

Difficulty increases gradually as a run continues, so early seconds feel manageable and later seconds demand sharper reflexes. Random spawns mean you cannot rely on a fixed route. Each attempt is a fresh test of how well you can track multiple falling objects at once. That structure suits short sessions: a run lasts until you get hit, so you can play for two minutes or twenty without committing to a long campaign.

Sound and Presentation

The soundtrack is a driving trap beat that reinforces the urgency of each round. Visuals are simple 2D graphics, which keeps the game lightweight and smooth on most devices. The presentation does not try to be more than it is: a clear playfield, readable hazards, and audio that pushes you to stay focused. It was originally built as a first Unity project, and that origin shows in the direct, uncluttered design.
