Protecting the Evacuation
Vanguard Rescue Defender places a rescue helicopter at the center of a top-down area. Blue stickmen move toward it, hoping to board and escape. Red stickmen chase them down, and your job is to stop those pursuers from interfering. The helicopter only departs once the blue characters are safely aboard, so every second counts.
Mouse Aiming and Threat Priority
You control the action with the mouse, aiming to block or remove red stickmen before they reach the blue ones. Hitting a blue stickman yourself causes failure, so accuracy matters more than speed. Because all characters move constantly, you must read the flow of the screen and decide which red pursuer poses the most immediate danger. Prioritizing the closest threats keeps the evacuation on track.
Rewards and Equipment Upgrades
Each successful level earns rewards that can be spent on equipment upgrades. These improvements affect accuracy and overall effectiveness, making later stages more manageable. The upgrade loop gives a reason to replay levels and refine your approach, since better tools directly influence how reliably you can protect the blue stickmen.
Difficulty and Session Design
Levels introduce new challenges with moving targets and a progressive difficulty curve. The game runs in modern browsers with full-screen support, and its simple art style keeps the action readable. Sessions are short and replayable because character movement patterns shift, so no two attempts feel identical. The design suits players who enjoy reflex-driven arcade play with a light strategic layer.
